Injured Players Respond To Treatment
Two out of the three injured players are sure of starting against USA on Sunday. The players Ebere Orji and Rebecca Kalu were treated in Bochum before the team returned to Augsburg on Thursday and have been training with their team mates since then.

However, midfielder Martina Ohadugha who had a knee injury may not be fielded as she was left out of training on Friday.

Orji, scorer of the goal against Mexico, played for Nigeria at the inaugural edition of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup finals in New Zealand in 2008. Martina Ohadugha was also at the same tournament.

All three players are key members of the Nigerian team and Coach Adat Egan is already thinking hard on a replacement for the battling midfielder Ohadugha.
